ESPN College Football Analyst and former Fighting Irish football player Mike Golic Sr. discusses Brian Kelly’s move to leave Notre Dame to become the next LSU Head Football Coach.
Kelly led the Irish to one BCS Championship game in the 2012-2013 season and to two College Football Playoff appearances in the 2018-2019 and 2020-2021 seasons.
Since 2010, Kelly coached the Irish to seven seasons with ten or more wins, five bowl wins, and an overall record of 113 wins and 40 losses.
Notre Dame beat writer Pete Sampson also tweeted Monday evening confirming Kelly's departure from Notre Dame to LSU.
Just now Brian Kelly messaged Notre Dame’s roster in Team Works that “I will be leaving Notre Dame.”

The plan is for Kelly to meet with the team tomorrow at 7 a.m.
