MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Midway Tavern in Mishawka celebrated their centennial, turning 100 years old this afternoon.
Around 80 people packed the house for the occasion, as they had live music going, and showed off pictures from over the years of the Tavern.
These pictures included the founder, Martha, and many fun moments over the years as one of Mishawaka's beloved bars.
"We're definitely so happy that we made it to this milestone. It's a huge milestone for a small business. And you know, it was so special to my grandparents. They were immigrants to this country and to start a small business, and we have all been able to continue it over the years," stated Co-Owner of Midway Tavern Susan Wassenhove.
