Michigan man found guilty of assaulting family member with a hammer

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich.-- A jury in St. Joseph County, Michigan found a man guilty on several charges for attacking a family member with a hammer.
29-year-old Brandon Forbes will be sentenced in June for one count of assault with a dangerous weapon and three counts of resisting/obstructing police.
Police arrested Forbes last August in Sturgis, Michigan after responding to reports of an assault.
