Michigan has 955,640 COVID-19 cases, 20,367 deaths

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 4,448 new cases* of COVID-19, and 51 new deaths**.

*Today's daily case count represents confirmed cases over two days (Thursday & Friday). The average number of new cases is 2,224 per day. 

**Deaths announced today includes 28 deaths identified during a Vital Records review. 

The state has a total of 955,640 COVID-19 cases, 20,367 deaths, 882,059 recovered, and 9,664,702 vaccine doses administered***. 

  • Berrien Co.: 14,851 confirmed cases, 283 deaths, 136,874 vaccine doses administered
  • Cass Co.: 5,159 cases, 74 deaths, 32,449 vaccine doses administered
  • St. Joseph Co.:  6,022 cases, 98 deaths, 43,531 vaccine doses administered
  • Van Buren Co.: 7,175 cases, 128 deaths, 69,788 vaccine doses administered
