Michigan has 941,678 COVID-19 cases, 20,230 deaths

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 3,958 new cases* of COVID-19, and 69 new deaths**.

*Today's daily case count represents confirmed cases over two days (Thursday & Friday). The average number of new cases is 3,958 per day. 

**Deaths announced today includes 42 deaths identified during a Vital Records review. 

The state has a total of 941,678 COVID-19 cases, 20,230 deaths, 878,031 recovered, and 9,589,299 vaccine doses administered***. 

  • Berrien Co.: 14,635 confirmed cases, 282 deaths, 135,803 vaccine doses administered
  • Cass Co.: 5,088 cases, 73 deaths, 32,234 vaccine doses administered
  • St. Joseph Co.:  5,908 cases, 98 deaths, 43,160 vaccine doses administered
  • Van Buren Co.: 7,098 cases, 125 deaths, 69,201 vaccine doses administered
