Michigan has 1,301,593 COVID-19 cases, 23,732 deaths

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 25,329 new cases* of COVID-19, and 137 new deaths**.

*Today's daily case count represents confirmed cases over five days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, & Monday). The average number of new cases is 5,066 per day.

**Deaths announced today includes 57 deaths identified during a Vital Records review. 

The state has a total of 1,301,593 COVID-19 cases, 23,732 deaths,1,090,933 recovered, and 10,512,376  vaccine doses administered***. 

  • Berrien Co.: 19,437 confirmed cases, 323 deaths, 149,395 vaccine doses administered
  • Cass Co.: 6,913 cases, 94 deaths, 35,734 vaccine doses administered
  • St. Joseph Co.:  8,658 cases, 121 deaths, 47,894 vaccine doses administered
  • Van Buren Co.: 10,218 cases, 167 deaths, 77,228 vaccine doses administered
