Michigan has 1,209,712 COVID-19 cases, 22,862 deaths

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 21,034 new cases* of COVID-19, and 95 new deaths**.

*Today's daily case count represents confirmed cases over three days (Saturday, Sunday, & Monday). The average number of new cases is 7,011 per day.

**Deaths announced today includes 27 deaths identified during a Vital Records review. 

The state has a total of 1,209,712 COVID-19 cases, 22,862 deaths,1,026,195 recovered, and 10,338,230 vaccine doses administered***. 

  • Berrien Co.: 18,203 confirmed cases, 315 deaths, 147,459 vaccine doses administered
  • Cass Co.: 6,572 cases, 88 deaths, 35,291 vaccine doses administered
  • St. Joseph Co.:  8,070 cases, 114 deaths, 47,165 vaccine doses administered
  • Van Buren Co.: 9,427 cases, 153 deaths, 75,916 vaccine doses administered
