Michigan has 1,166,517 COVID-19 cases, 22,521 deaths

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 8,911 new cases* of COVID-19, and 90 new deaths**.

*Today's daily case count represents confirmed cases over three days (Saturday, Sunday, & Monday). The average number of new cases is 2,970 per day.

**Deaths announced today includes 21 deaths identified during a Vital Records review. 

The state has a total of 1,166,517 COVID-19 cases, 22,521 deaths,1,026,195 recovered, and 10,239,495 vaccine doses administered***. 

  • Berrien Co.: 17,731 confirmed cases, 311 deaths, 146,214 vaccine doses administered
  • Cass Co.: 6,392 cases, 86 deaths, 34,962 vaccine doses administered
  • St. Joseph Co.:  7,795 cases, 112 deaths, 46,761 vaccine doses administered
  • Van Buren Co.: 9,048 cases, 151 deaths, 75,190 vaccine doses administered
