Michigan credit union opens applications for $30K worth of scholarships

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- Honor Credit Union announced scholarship applications are now open to Michigan students for the 2025-2026 year.

Officials say they will award $30,000 in total scholarships this year.

This is done through the credit union's Community Commitment Scholarship Program and will award 12 community-driven high school seniors $2,500 each to support their college or trade school education goals, according to officials.

Officials say the scholarship program has been a 15-year tradition.
