MICHIGAN CITY, Ind.—Michigan City officials are investigating the cause of a fire in a vacant home on January 25.
According to officials, firefighters were called to West Garfield Street just before 12:15 p.m. to find an abandoned building on fire.
Reports say that the cause of the fire is a mystery because there was nobody living in the home nor did it have any electricity.
Because of extensive damage to the fire, officials were forced to completely demolish the building.
