Sunny today, but expect a wetter and warmer weekend
Even though Michiana is fully in the fall season, summer-like temperatures are hanging around for a few more days.
Unfortunately for fans of summer weather, highs in the 80s and 70s are typically coming to an end heading into the start of October.
On average, our last day of 80-degree weather arrives during the first week of October. In 2019, our last 80-degree day was our last 90-degree day as well (October 1). However, we've had the 80s stick around into the start of November before!
It looks like we'll have at least a couple more days of 80s in South Bend heading into this weekend.
