SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The St. Joe County 4-H Fairgrounds were transformed into a whole new world over the weekend as a part of the Michiana Renaissance Festival.
Year 11 of the festival got off to a great start on Saturday with more than 4.000 people in attendance, and while no official tally has been made for Sunday, organizers believe even more came out thanks to weather conditions.
The festival featured games, interactive exhibits, museums, a wide variety of food vendors and more.
From rat pucking to jousting, arial acrobatics and swordfights, the festival went out of its way to showcase as many different art forms as possible.
While 2023's festivities are over, there's already excitement in the air for 2024 with an upcoming "fantasy" theme.
More information on the festival can be found here.
