MICHIANA -- With apartments and homes across Michiana finding themselves without central air, repairs technicians were hard at work trying to keep cool, while making sure homes are too.
Don Gillette is an A/C Repair Technician at Goff Heating and Air, a family business that has served the South Bend area since 1937.
ABC57 was with him today as he worked to get a unit up and running.
"I think one thing to just note is general maintenance for your system. Change your filter, keep an eye on it, if it's not running right give somebody a call. We're all about repair over replace," stated Gillette.
