SOUTH BEND, Ind.—South Bend’s current mayor and possible 2020 presidential candidate, Pete Buttigieg, formally endorsed South Bend mayoral candidate James Mueller on Monday.
Buttigieg and Mueller, former Executive Director of Community Investment for Buttigieg, held a press conference at Mueller’s campaign headquarters on W. Western Ave. in South Bend at 10 a.m. on Monday to make the announcement.
Mueller announced his candidacy for South Bend mayor on January 24.
