SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Another name has been added to the list of South Bend's mayoral candidates.
James Mueller announced his candidacy on Thursday in front of his childhood home.
Mueller is the former Executive Director of Community Investment for Mayor Pete Buttigieg.
He said if he is elected the first thing he will do is bring more jobs to the area.
“Trying to raise incomes across the city, that's the most important thing that we can do and that will keep the city thriving getting those opportunities to people everywhere,” said Mueller.
Muller said his campaign will focus on the needs of the people and he will be knocking on doors to campaign and connect with South Bend residents.
