SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Pete Buttigieg will hold a town hall in South Bend on Sunday addressing community trust in the police department, racial tensions and issues stemming from the police-involved shooting of Eric Logan.
Mayor Buttigieg will be joined by South Bend Police Chief Scott Ruszkowski and NAACP South Bend Chapter President Apostle Michael Patton will moderate the event.
The town hall will take place at Washington High School at 3:30 p.m. on June 23.
Buttigieg and Ruszkowski will discuss the process for officer-involved shooting investigations and hearings before the Board of Public Safety before fielding questions from the moderator and the public.
