Marshall County Dispatcher awarded Indiana Association of Public Safety Communications Officers Telecommunicator of the Year
MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. – Marshall County Dispatcher, Jim Budd was awarded the Indiana Association of Public Safety Communications Officers Telecommunicator of the Year.
This award is only awarded to one Telecommunicator or Dispatcher in the state of Indiana each year according to officials.
Jim Budd has worked at the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office since 2007 as a dispatcher and turnkey.
Over the past two years Budd has gone through rough cancer treatments, and that has not stopped him from going to work and keeping a positive attitude.
His great attitude and positive outlook have had an effect on his co-workers in a positive way throughout the years.
Budd also spends his personal time raising money for different charities as well as serving his community as a volunteer firefighter and EMT for the Plymouth Fire Department.
