ELKHART, Ind. -- A Man leaves one injured after a hit and run leads to an arrest.

Jonothan Walker rear ended Charles Chastain, a 61-year-old man on State Road 19 at 3:53 p.m.

Walker continued off road and came to a stop after crashing into an electrical tower.

He then fled the scene and would later be apprehended with alleged signs of impairment.

Chastain was transported to the Elkhart General Hospital with complaints of chest pain.

Walker was arrested and taken to the taken to the Elkhart County Jail for operating while intoxicating causing a crash and endangering his passenger.
