MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- On Wednesday, the Marshall County Sheriff's Department announced that a 49-year-old man has been arrested on charges of Child Neglect after reports of a teenager allegedly being battered and forced to eat dish soap.

Greg Eads, the 49-year-old man, has been arrested and charged with Child Neglect after an arrest warrant was issued.

The warrant came after an investigation following a criminal complaint of a teenager that had allegedly been battered and forced to eat dish soap for disciplinary purposes.

Eads' bond has been set at $1,500.
