ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- On Thursday, the St. Joseph County Sheriff's Office released a statement about a drug-related arrest on Tuesday that brought two people into custody, finding methamphetamine and a stolen firearm.

A man and a woman, both left unnamed by the sheriff's office, were taken into custody Tuesday and have been held in the St. Joseph County Jail pending arraignment on charges such as Operating and Maintaining a Drug House, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Distribute, and several felony firearms charges.

Their arrest came after deputies with the St. Joseph County Sheriff's Office executed a drug-related search warrant Tuesday at a home in the 200 block of Meadow Lane in Constantine.

In the residence, the deputies allegedly found methamphetamine and a stolen handgun, determining that the drugs were being distributed from the home.
