Lucas Oil Stadium checked for safety after accident

INDIANAPOLIS -- Crews are double checking all the railings at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indy making sure they are safe ahead of Friday's game.

Two people fell over the railing at Sunday's home opener and stadium officials are not sure how it happened.

Neither suffered serious injuries but officials are not taking any chances of something similar happening again.

"We're gonna go through all of our rails and all our procedures and all of our fan interaction procedures for this weekend again. You know, some fans have a tendency to crowd around to try to get autographs or memorabilia. We're gonna work on that. We're gonna look at all the physical part," said CIB director Barney Levengood.

They are checking the structural soundness of all the railings and if they are attached properly to the concrete base.
