MILFORD, Ind. - Friends, family, and even strangers gathered at Waubee Lake this Sunday to celebrate the life of Kymani Collier.
The 10-year-old was swimming at Nappanee Public Pool with his 3 brothers this Fourth of July when he drowned.
Loved ones shared stories of their guardian angel who loved all things nature, adventure, and swimming at what should have been his 11th birthday party at his favorite place, Waubee Lake.
He wanted to spend his birthday with fireworks and water, so his family did just that as they remembered the good times.
His parents, Shauna Collier and Robert Carter, told ABC57 their favorite things about their oldest son, and thanked the community for the overwhelming amount of love and support during this unimaginable time.
Donations for the family are still being except through the Cash App account, $MrCarter0407.
