Local organizations providing free Thanksgiving Day meal to community

ELKHART, Ind. -- Two local charitable organizations are teaming up to provide a free Thanksgiving meal to the Elkhart community.

Faith Mission of Michiana and The Salvation Army of Elkhart are partnering to provide the free meal at two different locations on Thanksgiving Day.

The two hosting sites where the meal is being served are Faith Mission at 801 Benham Avenue and The Salvation Army at 300 N. Main Street in Elkhart.

The same traditional Thanksgiving meal will be served at both locations from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
