Local groups holding debates and candidate forums for South Bend races

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The American Democracy Project at IUSB and League of Women Voters have scheduled 8 events for South Bend municipal candidates.

On March 14, the candidates for mayor, city council and clerk will participate in a Meet the Candidates Forum at the St. Joseph County Public Library's main branch downtown.

Each candidate will offer a brief statement, detail their priorities and reasons for running.
