Local authorities share resources to continue search for 73-year-old woman
UPDATE: On July 25, deputies announced they found what they believe to be the body of Furlong.

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. - The search for 73-year-old Three Rivers woman, Marilee Furlong, continues with the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office, Pokagon Tribal Police DNR Office, and Michigan Professional Search and Rescue team searching on foot, on horseback, by vehicle, by drone, and K-9 searches.
Officials searched the area Furlong was last seen on Friday.
Authorities assembled multiple K-9 searches, drone searches, as well as searches by foot, horseback, and by vehicle. The Great Lakes Drone Company also assisted with additional searching by drone.
The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office also contacted the Michigan Professional Search and Rescue Council to arrange for additional resources to be brought to the search.
The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office has been working directly with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office due to the search locations occurring inside of Cass County.
