LIVE: Democratic National Convention
The third night of the Democratic National Convention will be a historic one.
Senator Kamala Harris will give her speech as the first woman of color to be a vice presidential nominee.
Wednesday is packed with appearances by heavy-hitters and fellow politicians who know what it's like to "be the first" including Hilary Clinton, the former secretary of state, and the first woman to be a major party nominee for president in 2016.
Former President Barack Obama, the country's first black president, who chose Joe Biden as his own vice president 12 years ago will also be speaking.
He'll make the case that his former running mate and Harris are the ones to move America forward.
Full list of speakers:
- Senator Elizabeth Warren
- Speaker Nancy Pelosi
- Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
- Governor Tony Evers
- Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham
