Lighthouse Chorus returns with a benefit concert for area food banks

NILES, Mich. -- After a two-year break from performances due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Michiana Metro Lighthouse Chorus is coming back for another concert.

The Lighthouse Chorus is a non-profit men's a capella group that draws members from several counties in Michiana and has performed many concerts throughout the region.

Their concert, Connecting Through Harmony, is an annual fundraiser that will take place this year on Saturday, September 17 at 6:59 p.m. at New Journey United Methodist Church in Niles.

The concert will include many types of music that appeals to all ages.

Proceeds from the performance will be donated to multiple food banks in Berrien and Cass counties. Those attending are also encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the food drive being held at the event.

General admission tickets are $15. Admission is free for children under the age of 12.
