Lake effect showers linger in western La Porte, Starke, and Pulaski counties early this morning with the possibility of wet weather shifting slightly east while staying contained by US-31. A freeze warning is in effect for our eastern counties through late morning with scattered frost likely and freezing possible for these areas as well. Mostly cloudy skies follow up this afternoon with seasonal highs in the mid 50s only to drop back down towards freezing tonight, resulting in more widespread frost early tomorrow morning. Expect plenty of sunshine and gradually warming temperatures into the 70s by this weekend with minimal rain chances in sight over the next 5 days.
Today: AM showers, mostly cloudy after. High 54.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 33.
Thursday: Sunny. High 62.
Friday: Sunny. High 68.
