BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- The Berrien County Road Department announced Red Arrow Highway will have lane closures between Bridgman city limits and the signal at DC Cook Nuclear plant for road resurfacing work beginning on Aug. 4.

The road improvements will include drainage improvements, roadway resurfacing and four-lane to three-lane road reconfiguration.

Officials say one lane will be open to traffic in each direction during construction.

Motorists should follow posted work zone signage.

The project is expected to be completed by November.
