GOSHEN, Ind. -- Support organizations Lacasa and Oaklawn are partnering together to help the unhoused population in Elkhart County over the age of 55.
The Lakeview Drive Development will now include an apartment complex specifically designed for unhoused seniors in the area.
That complex is the fourth of a proposed seven-building development on Oaklawn's Goshen campus.
Each complex will feature eight mostly single-bedroom units. Lacasa has signed a 99-year lease for the property, and will be responsible for construction while Oaklawn will provide support services for residents once they move in. More information about the project and their services can be found here.
