Lab beagles used for pesticide testing in Michigan up for adoption

Beagles that were used for pesticide testing at a Michigan lab are now up for adoption.

Dow AgroSciences (Corteva Agriscience) recently ended year-long pesticide testing on 36 beagles.

The Michigan Humane Society conducted an undercover investigation which pushed for the study's end.

MHS announced Friday that the beagles were officially available for adoption, according to a Facebook post.

Applications are currently being accepted until 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 14.

An application for adoption can be found here.
