La Porte celebrates the opening of the new Franciscan Beacon Hospital

LA PORTE, Ind. – Franciscan Beacon Hospital has officially opened its doors to patients two weeks after a June 12th ribbon cutting and blessing. The hospital is located on State Road 2 in La Porte on the same campus as Beacon Medical Group.
This new hospital has been realized through the partnership of Franciscan Health and Beacon Health System and features a 24-hour, 10-bed Emergency Department.
The facility also has eight inpatient beds for overnight care with nursing station, laboratory services, on-staff pharmacist, physical therapy, telehealth options, and up-to-date imaging and diagnostic equipment.
