ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Knox Redskins came to Baugo and knocked the Jimtown Jimmies out of the postseason, ending their season Friday night, walking off Knepp Field with a 50-21 victory.
The Jimmies showed improvement from their last meetup with Knox three weeks ago, namely in the defense department, but they just weren't able to get things going in the second half.
Myles McLaughlin, the nation's leading rusher from Knox, finished with 469 yards rushing, and broke the state's single season rushing record Friday. He is now on track to top the all-time state career rushing record of 10,867 yards next week.
Knox will take on their next sectionals opponent at home next Friday.
