Juvenile killed, two others injured in Pine Township shooting
ABC 57 UPDATE (2:12 p.m.) -- ABC57 reached out to Michigan City Area Schools for comment, and they have responded with the following statement:
"Michigan City Area Schools is aware of the tragic off-campus incident involving several Michigan City High School students following prom activities. Our thoughts are with the students, families, and everyone impacted during this difficult time. Counseling and support resources will be available to our students and staff. Questions regarding the investigation should be directed to law enforcement.

PORTER COUNTY, Ind. -- Deputies with the Porter County Sheriff's Office confirm that one male juvenile, an 18-year-old female and another male juvenile were shot at a residence in the 1700 block of Liberty Avenue in Pine Township, Porter County.
Officers were first dispatched to the scene around 11 p.m. CST Saturday to reports of shots being fired.
Porter County Public Information Officer, Sgt. Benjamin McFalls, says it appears to be an isolated incident and there's no ongoing threat to public safety at this time.
