Juvenile arrested for alleged vandalism spree

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Mishawaka Police have arrested a 13-year-old for an alleged vandalism spree Monday evening in the area of Milburn Boulevard.

Several people called Mishawaka Police Monday night to report their tires were slashed.

An officer stopped three teen juveniles on the railroad tracks near Logan around 7:10 p.m. One of the teens was identified as the one who damaged the vehicles.

The juvenile was taken into custody and transported to the Juvenile Justice Center in South Bend on charges of criminal mischief and trespassing on railroad property.

If you live on the southwest side of Mishawaka and you had similar damage, police want you to fill out a police report.
