Judge sends Niles teen to prison for his part in F.O.P. lodge fire

NILES, Mich. -- A Niles teen was sentenced on Monday for burning the Niles F.O.P. Lodge to the ground.

The judge sentenced 19-year-old Kyle Kelley to 5 1/2 to 10 years in prison.

The fire happened back on March 14.

Kelley and another man -- 26-year-old Gary Nellans -- both pled guilty to getting drunk, stealing a car which they crashed into a guard rail, then stealing a second car which they torched and rolled into the lodge.

Nellans will be sentenced next week.
