IU Football alum Omar Cooper Jr. drafted by the New York Jets

PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- Two members of the national champion Indiana University Hoosiers squad are headed to the NFL.

At tonight's draft, former wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. was drafted by the CITY TEAM as the 30th overall pick. Cooper logged 937 yards this past season on top of 24 touchdowns. He follows fellow former Hoosier Fernando Mendoza, who was picked earlier tonight by the Las Vegas Raiders.
