Intersection of Pipestone, Napier open for Memorial Day weekend

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. - The intersection of Pipestone Road and Napier Avenue will be open to travel from Friday through Monday for Memorial Day traffic, according to the Berrien County Road Department.

The intersection has been closed since May 8 for road work.

Traffic restrictions will resume on Tuesday.

Crews expect the project to be completed by September 30.

Traffic should take the following detours during work:

• Northbound Pipestone traffic: M-139 to Pipestone Road
• Southbound Pipestone: M-139 to Napier Avenue to Plaza Drive to Fairplain Drive to Mall Drive to Pipestone Road
