Indiana has 6,907 cases of COVID-19

The Indiana State Department of Health announced 568 new cases of COVID-19 and 55 new deaths have been reported to the state.  

The state has a total of 6,907 cases of COVID-19 and 300 Hoosiers have died.

To date, 35,040 tests have been reported to the department.

Marion County had the most new cases, at 202.

Other counties with more than 10 new cases were Allen (14), Decatur (10), Hamilton (35), Hendricks (28), Johnson (23), Lake (53), Madison (57), Monroe (10) and St. Joseph (15).

The Lake County totals include results from East Chicago and Gary, which have their own health departments.

  • Fulton Co.: 3 cases
  • Kosciusko Co.: 17 cases, 1 death
  • La Grange Co.: 9 cases, 1 death
  • LaPorte Co.: 31 cases, 3 deaths
  • Marshall Co.: 12 cases
  • Pulaski: 1 case
  • St. Joseph Co.: 165 cases, 2 deaths, 20 recovered
  • Starke Co.: 8 cases
