Independence Day Celebration this Saturday in Mishawaka

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Mishawaka Parks and Recreation is hosting an Independence Day Celebration at Central Park from 3 to 11 p.m., on Saturday, June 29.

There will be plenty of activities for adults and kids.

The event will include food trucks, live entertainment, and craft and retail vendors.

The Public House Beer Garden will be open from 4:30 to 9 p.m.

Live performances include Hey Annie from 4:45 to 6:15 p.m., What You See is What You Get from 6:45 to 8:15 p.m., and The Roosters from 8:45 to 10:15 p.m.

Other activities and events include BMX bike shows, foam parties, axe throwing, a Deka race, and carnival games from 4 to 9 p.m.

Kids can also participate in Touch-a-Truck, and there are $15 unlimited play wristbands available.

Inflatables will be open from 4 to 9 p.m.

Fireworks will begin at dusk.
