Freezing and foggy start to the day, but 70s are on their way
Give yourself plenty of extra drive time Tuesday morning. Even before driving - be cautious walking on sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots as you are getting to your car. It is very icy this morning.
Additional freezing rain or drizzle is possible through the morning. It will feel like a cold rain falling when you are outdoors, so wear something waterproof.
As temperatures begin to warm today, we will see a transition from freezing rain to regular rain by late morning.
This afternoon, we may begin to see some ice/snow melt, so we could run into some fog formation.
More rain showers are possible late overnight tonight into Wednesday and Thursday, which will help with additional melting. This will create fog and clouds through the end of the week.
We dry out Friday with highs near 40. This weekend temperatures stay in the upper 30s under mostly cloudy skies.
Today: Freezing rain to rain. Icy surfaces in the morning. High 36.
Tonight: Rain showers. Low 33.
Wednesday: Rain showers. High 39.
Thursday: Scattered rain showers. High 42.
