The Indiana Department of Education is sharing its results from last year's IREAD-3 tests. It found nearly one in five students haven't reached key reading milestones by the end of third grade.
It is a slight improvement from the year before, but third grade literacy rates have been dropping for a decade.
Indiana is trying to address the issue with the literacy partnership between the state and the Lily Endowment to improve literacy statewide!
