I&M suspends disconnections in Three Rivers during storm recovery
MGN THREE RIVERS, Mich. -- Indiana Michigan Power announced to prevent further hardship while customers recover from widespread tornado damage, the company is suspending service disconnections in the area.
“Our hearts are with everyone impacted by the storm in the community. We were committed to restoring power safely and quickly and now we will stand with our customers and employees in that community to assist with power needs as they rebuild,” said Katie Runkle, I&M’s vice president of external affairs and customer experience.
I&M officials say disconnections will be suspended through March 31.
Officials say on April 1, they will evaluate and decide on next steps.
