NILES, Mich. -- The final day of the Hunte Ice Festival in Niles took place Sunday, Jan. 18.
Niles Eagles, Second and Main, Niles Brewing Company, Pizza Transit, Jim's Smoking Cafe, and Downtown Niles Cafe competed for whose chili was the best.
After the chili crawl, attendees could go see the ice sculptures one last time.
Riverfront Park also had games such as ice ping pong, corn hole, ski ball, and more.
Families were welcomed to sled and ice toboggan.
Lisa Croteau, manager of the Niles DDA Main Street Program, stated, "So far, it has been just an overwhelming success. People have had a lot of fun coming down and seeing the ice sculptures, and as I said, we have carvers that come from all around the country, so you're going to see some of the most beautiful ice art that you've ever seen in your life."
