Humane Society of St. Joseph County closed due to COVID-19

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The Humane Society of St. Joseph County is closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but pet adoptions and other services will be available by appointment.

The restrictions were put in place on November 13 to protect the staff due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you need help with an animal control related issue or need to surrender a pet, call 574-255-4726 ext. 0 Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and a staff member will tell you how to proceed.

If you have an animal control related emergency after hours or on Sundays, leave a message for the Animal Control Officer at 574-255-4726 ext 8.
