Humane Society of Elkhart County announces the “Name Your Price" cat adoption event

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Humane Society of Elkhart County has announced a “Name Your Price" adoption event.

The “Name Your Price” Mardi Paws adoption special for cats will be happening on Saturday, March 23 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

At the event, the humane society is allowing people to name their price when adopting a cat.

Longtime resident cats of the shelter will have their adoption fees waived completely.

Cats are the number one animal taken into shelters and organizers hope that this event will help many feline friends find forever homes.

Those wishing to adopt on that day are encouraged to submit an application ahead of time in order to help wait times.
