THORNTOWN, Ind. -- The holidays will hopefully be a little brighter for troops overseas, thanks to some Christmas trees.
The "Trees for Troops" program has gotten underway north of Indianapolis. Tree farmers, Fed Ex workers, and volunteers prepared and loaded hundreds of trees for shipment.
The trees are headed to American troops in Bahrain and Spain, and the Great Lakes Naval air station in Illinois.
