NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, Amy Coney Barrett, spoke on the University of Notre Dame in the Leighton Concert Hall of the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center about her new upcoming book, 'Listening to the Law.'
The Notre Dame Law School graduate and former law professor's visit comes two days following the murder of conservative activist, Charlie Kirk.
"Yes, you do give up your freedom, more then I realized when I first said yes to this, " said Hon. Barrett when asked if she fears for her own safety. "I am in very good hands, so I feel safe, but we do have round the clock security and so I don't have the same freedom of movement."
