Hometown Days wraps up its 19th year
NEW CARLISLE, Ind. -- The festival has been a beloved tradition for 19 years, and everyone is already buzzing about what next year's 20th anniversary might bring.
New Carlisle's Hometown Days festival is wrapping up its 19th year with a weekend full of fun, festivities, and community spirit. As this year’s celebrations end, excitement is building for next year’s milestone 20th anniversary.
Organizers say as they look ahead to next year, they're excited to plan something truly special for the 20th anniversary of Hometown Days. They don't have all the details yet, but say they’re committed to making it bigger and better than ever.
One organizer says it's a local celebration of New Carlisle's small, tight-knit community and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate what the town is about.
"It's awesome being a part of something that's so small yet so big and that has such a big impact for us as a small community to see it on this large of a scale once a year," Mary Kay Beauty Consultant Elin Boklund said.
