Heavy fog will likely be an issue this morning with many areas already seeing less than one mile of visibility. As the sun comes up and the fog mixes out, highs will climb into the low 80s today feeling much more seasonable than yesterday. Expect quiet and partly cloudy conditions both today and tonight with a slight chance of a rogue shower or thunderstorm this evening/overnight. Slight rain chances stick with us through the weekend but should remain almost entirely out of the area. After a night in the low 60s, the heat and humidity build the rest of this week into the weekend with conditions feeling progressively muggier. Skies stay mostly sunny Friday and Saturday with highs reaching towards 90F into early next week. Our next best chance for rain looks to be Saturday night into Sunday morning, giving crop fields and gardens time to dry out from yesterday's flooding excessive rainfall.
